Business Development Manager 

Avery Dennison

Managed end-use accounts at UPS, FedEx, US Postal Service, and Airborne (worth about $100MM). Led pricing, development, and qualifications.

· Built a relationship with FedEx, motivating the team to create a new qualification process that resulted in the qualification of Avery product and incremental $8MM annual label sales.
· Managed my team to double UPS sales to approximately $30MM per year.
· Led impactful product qualification efforts at UPS, resulting in annual cost savings of $320,000. Received recognition for risk-taking at 2001 division-wide Town Hall.
· Resolved customer issue at Airborne with a solution that generated $700,000 annually.
· Motivated and persuaded a team of professionals to develop a satisfactory product for the US Postal Service. My team was nominated for the 2002 division-wide award.

1997 – 2000

Senior Segmant Marketing Specialist

FedEx

Managed marketing for FedEx’s Reseller Network (worth over $50MM in profits). Led pricing, product development, promotions and was liaison with Mail Boxes Etc. (FedEx’s largest reseller).

· Negotiated a resolution for declared value issue for FedEx Ground, allowing for $44MM in annual sales.
· Led the development and implementation of the frequent-shipper program, resulting in a 50% response rate, with participants shipping 40% more than the control group. · Spearheaded two comprehensive marketing campaigns with Mail Boxes Etc., including TV advertising, endorsements, POS materials, and game cards. New marketing avenues generated over $3MM in incremental revenue.
· Created and deployed a new methodology for incentive campaigns that generated over $1.7MM in incremental revenue.
